➡️ InterCellar is a marketplace (official link here) that brings brands and consumers together. It is a e-commerce website where consumers can buy their bottles, with the possibility of storing them via a digital twin. The concept is very simple. The brand lists its bottles on the platform, and the user buys a bottle:
The physical asset is directly stored in our warehouses
The digital twin is stored in a "my cellar" wallet
"A DIGITAL TWIN TO TRADE OR EXCHANGE YOUR BOTTLE" Once you own one or more bottles via InterCellar, you have several options :
The bottles are stored in perfect conditions in Dartess warehouse, one of the major players in the wine and spirits storage industry. The bottles are stored in Blanquefort (on the outskirts of Bordeaux), in a true “Fort Knox” of wine, with ironclad security, hygrometry and temperature control. The digital twin remains visible in “My Cellar”.
To sell, the user goes to the "My Cellar" tab, selects the bottle to be sold, then clicks on "Sell". He sets the selling price and, after a few minutes, the bottle appears on the marketplace, indicated by an "On sale" pop-up in the "My cellar" tab.
By clicking on "Transfer" and entering the destination address, the bottle can be sent to another portfolio. Please note that transferring to a third-party portfolio implies the loss of ownership of the bottle.
To physically pick up the bottle, simply click on "Claim". Users then select the bottles they wish to receive and fill in their delivery details. A shipping charge, calculated according to destination and number of bottles, will be applied. These options offer total flexibility, whether for storing, selling, transferring or physically retrieving bottles. Once the physical bottle has been delivered , the digital twin is no longer visible in "My Cellar"
